The University of Southampton joined the "Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt" Lecture Series for Peace, Development, and Education. The ceremony took place in the main campus and it was presided by Professor Christopher Brown, Head of the School of Education. Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt presented the University with the plaque of membership. Several joint research projects and academic seminars are in the process of joint planning. The University of Southampton is ranked among the top 100 in the world, and it is part of the prestigious Russell Group of universities, known as the Ivy League of the United Kingdom.
