The House of Feigenblatt is currently supporting several projects related to sustainable development. Several of such projects such as the “Tree of Knowledge” in the amazonian region, are at the macro level. Nevertheless, the House also encourages a very simple, yet impactful, “best practice”, which is to grow food. The idea is not new, but it can have a profound effect on the sustainable use of resources. It is particularly viable for property owners. Planting fruit trees and other edibles is a small step in the right direction. Fruit trees and grape vines have been integrated into the landscape design of the gardens of Everwise Hall to show the Household’s commitment to sustainable development.
