The House of Feigenblatt participated in the Meeting and Summit of Universities of the Andean Parliament. This important event was held on the 17th of May at the Universidad Americana of Bogota. The event was attended by the rectors of the member universities and by the highest educational governmental authorities of the member states. The delegation was led by His Excellency Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt who is also an adviser to the Andean Parliament in issues of education. Dr. Oscar Aparicio Gomez attended as private secretary for search and Dr. Tulio Pizarro as second secretary. Mr. Mathew Anderson attended as a guest of the delegation. The Summit dealt with important issues such as the standardization of degrees, research, and regional accreditation. His Excellency Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt signed the Declaration of Bogota on behalf of the delegation. The House pledged over three million dollars in technical support and scholarships.
