The Honorable Dr. Julio Palacios Sambrano, Governor of Cocle in the Republic of Panama, and member of parliament for Panama in the Central American Parliament, joined the Household. The ceremony took place at the Hotel Central in the Casco Antiguo of Panama City. The small ceremony was attended by Her Excellency Ingrid Picado Monge, Ambassador of the Republic of Costa Rica, by the director of the Bolivarian Association of Panama, the President of the Transformacion en Tiempos Violentos Foundation of Costa Rica, members of the Ministry of the Interior, and by the media. Dr. Julio Palacios Sambrano received the badge of the household and delivered a moving speech about his support for its activities. The ceremony was presided by His Excellency Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt as head of the Household and it took place on the 16th of May.
