AMB von Feigenblatt receives honorary professorship from Portuguese University (Lisbon, Portugal)

The Instituto Superior de Ciências Educativas of Portugal bestowed an honorary professorship on the 31st of January at City Hall in the presence of local authorities and of members of the faculty. The President of the ISCE and its rector delivered speeches about the academic merits and service of Dr. von Feigenblatt and congratulated him for his efforts to promote academic exchanges between the Americas and Portugal. Dr. von Feigenblatt delivered an acceptance speech focused on the importance of the role of the public intellectual. A representative of the City Council also presented Dr. von Feigenblatt with local gifts. The ceremony was followed by a toast to academia and to Portugal.
